So Many Events, So Little Time

Knock Em Alive Business Coaching
There are anywhere between one and seven networking events every day in our area. How do I pick an event to match my intentions?
The art of networking is to find events that fit your niche and also to maximize your energy at any event you attend. Upon arrival, we suggest you check in with the event organizers or team members and ask for an introduction to key people who can help you with your goals and purpose while at the event.
As you meet new people, ask them if they would introduce you to a key contact that fits your intention and purpose for attending. Make sure you ask them what they are looking for at the event. When you know what they are up to, look to see if there is a contact you could to introduce them to at this event or from your network to assist them.
Keep notes on the people you meet and what they need, and remember their needs as you attend other networking events. You might meet someone who needs an accountant at one event, then at the next event you meet an accountant. When you follow up with people you meet about what they need, it makes you an invaluable resource to them. People remember people who help them with their business objectives. You become a resource in your network and community.
Be specific about what you need. Be clear and concise as it helps someone to really understand what you need and they will be better at helping you.
Remember Give Referrals first-it builds your credibility.
