Tis’ the month to give thanks, but why limit ourselves to showing our appreciation to one day a year?  Providing a simple expression of gratitude to our clients is imperative in encouraging repeat clients and cultivating a positive customer experience.  How are you expressing appreciation to your clients?

How about the personally hand written note?  You know, the one you’ve gotten from Amazon.com after accidentally spending three times your original purchase amount.  Ok, maybe not.  Big business doesn’t tend to do things like this, but you can.  Providing that personalized relationship with your clients is what sets you apart from big business and is part of the value proposition you represent.  This is why your client wants to do their financial planning with you instead of a Fortune 500 company.

Now, what is the best possible combination of means to communicate your thanks?  Keyword; combination.  Stay tuned for the second edition of this month’s Community Journal for a step by step plan to make sure you are out-thanking the competition.
