How many times have you thought these words or heard yourself utter them? Stop and think about what you are really saying. You likely mean you are certain that whatever other people are asking of you is not as important as what you are doing at that moment in time. Now also think about how you say it. Are you using a strong tone of voice that could mean you don’t care about the people to whom you are saying it?

As you examine a professional baseball game, you realize a successful business is much like a sporting team. Every player is given a position, much like each person contributes in a department to an organization. Everyone is striving for two goals; one, to win, and two, to have fun doing it. For this to happen, every teammate is going to have to walk on the field fully aware they are going to get dirty. Players truly need to put in their blood, sweat, and tears to prove their hard work and dedication to keep a spot on the team.
